April 1, 2026Following an in-depth review, the Livestock Price Insurance administration has cancelled the LPI-Hog product. As a result, LPI-Hog policies will not be available for purchase after March 31, 2026.
This decision was made after careful consideration and reflects a broader assessment of program use. While the LPI-Hog product is being discontinued, we remain committed to the hog sector.
Any current LPI-Hog policies will be settled as they expire in accordance with contract specifications.
